The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council has approved the appointment of Daniyar Imanaliev as the new Minister of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Imanaliev brings nearly two decades of experience in economic policy and public administration, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
He previously served as First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2021 and has held key positions within the Ministry of Economy and the Presidential Administration from 2004 to 2021.
Most recently, he headed the Department of Customs Infrastructure at the EEC for four years, where he played a significant role in regional trade facilitation and infrastructure development.
A graduate of the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transportation and Architecture, Imanaliev also earned a degree from Ritsumeikan University in Japan, adding international academic experience to his credentials.
