Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced that the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Türkiye increased to $183 billion.
President Erdoğan made these remarks during a meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Rize, The Caspian Post reports via Turkish media.
Erdoğan emphasized that Türkiye continues upholding strong relations with the West while simultaneously forging new partnerships with the East, particularly with Asian nations, to deepen cooperation.
“Our government is engaged in a multipolar effort on several fronts simultaneously,” the president said. “While addressing economic challenges at home, we are also striving to completely eradicate the threat of terrorism within our borders. We have made notable progress on both fronts. Inflation is falling, exports are growing, and reconstruction continues in earthquake-affected regions. From Syria to Gaza, from the Balkans to the Turkic states - we act everywhere guided by the mission of a strong Türkiye.”
