Tajikistan, UK’s Really English Join Forces to Boost English Language Learning

Homid Hoshimzoda, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan, has held a productive meeting with Nigel Killick, CEO of the UK-based digital education company Really English, to discuss enhancing collaboration in English language teaching.

During the discussions, both sides focused on improving teaching methodologies, developing updated curricula, and implementing innovative digital English training programs across Tajikistan’s schools and universities, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

A key goal is to strengthen the English proficiency of both students and educators, in line with the country’s strategic educational priorities.

Hoshimzoda expressed gratitude for Really English’s ongoing efforts to support language learning among Tajik youth and teachers, highlighting the importance of English as a priority within Tajikistan’s education system.

In response, Nigel Killick thanked the Ministry for its warm reception and reiterated Really English’s commitment to forging long-term partnerships. He shared plans to launch interactive digital courses, specialized teacher training programs, and collaborative projects with Tajik higher education institutions.

Both parties concluded the meeting by reaffirming their dedication to deepening cooperation and advancing innovative approaches in English language education throughout Tajikistan.
