Georgia Authorizes Protests Outside Parliament Through July 8 With Restrictions

Georgia’s Interior Ministry has officially authorized anti-government protests outside the national parliament through July 8, while imposing conditions aimed at maintaining public order and traffic flow.

According to an official document published by the ministry, demonstrators will be allowed to gather on and around the steps in front of the parliament building. However, participants must not obstruct pedestrian movement, block road traffic, or interfere with daily public activity, The Caspian Post reports via Sputnik Georgia.

Protesters are required to comply with public safety regulations and must not disrupt the work of government institutions, businesses, or other organizations.

Under the approved framework, demonstrations will take place every day from 7:00 p.m. (GMT+4) until midnight.
